The introduction track from AWAR's "The Laws Of Nature" album, produced by Sid Roams (Bravo & Joey Chavez). This is an intense display of ventilation about the life of man with the weight of the world on his shoulders. This is theme music for when you feel like Something has to give. Support the arts by copping "The Laws Of Nature" CD or iTUNES.

With his new album Legends Never Die in stores now, R.A. The Rugged Man is back in the spotlight, and a number of prominent peers have been singing his praises. Most recently, Strange Music don Tech N9ne sat down to reflect on the Rugged Man's otherworldly lyrical skills and the success of the R.A./Tech collaboration "Holla-Loo-Yuh" off Legends Never Die. "A lot of people can't even handle his lyricism," says Tech. "Listen to his verse on "Holla-Loo-Yuh." He just murdered it. He's the type of MC who says, 'I can do this and you can't'." Legends Never Die is the official follow-up to R.A.'s critically acclaimed album Die Rugged Man Die, and also features appearances from the likes of Hopsin, Brother Ali, Krizz Kaliko, Talib Kweli, Vinnie Paz, Masta Ace, Sadat X, Eamon, and more. Now in stores everywhere.

The dust hasn’t even settled from the Open Affairs Tour, but Mad Dukez and Fresh Kils are already gearing up for the summer mania release of Gettin’ Gatsby, coming July 16 on CD, MP3 and 12” Vinyl.

While their Open Affairs EP is hitting #3 on Earshot Charts in Canada, the duo is sliding you one helluva shot with the new album’s lead single, “Bootleg Bartenders.” No chaser required for this pure imaginative lyric and beat combo. “Bootleg Bartenders” is already on the fast track to success receiving air-time across the continent as the #1 Added Single on RecordBreakers just last week.

This is a premium taste of what to expect from the full album. Dukez and Kils are channeling Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby with a modern Buffalo spin on themes of overindulgence, decadence, and infidelity. Until then, heed the surgeon general’s warning and start “sippin’ while we rock out.”

F.Y.I. continues to lay down the foundation for his upcoming record, Yo! The Places You'll Go, which is shaping up to sound like a dope record. Clap Clap is the latest song from the Mid-City L.A. emcee which brings a couple elements to the table as soon as you hear it. First, a killer Afro-Latin sounding sample with a splash of ill horns along with a Nigerian artist named Smalls speaking in his native tongue on the song's bridge makes you wanna wave a flag at a festival somewhere. Second, F.Y.I. got bars! Third, the song disects the ills that come with the party lifestyle. For some time, many popular songs have lost serious cool points from artists not saying shit, so to hear a song with flavor and a message deserves to get a clap clap.
