A few years ago former President of Violator Management/multi-media powerbroker, Mona Scott Young, contacted veteran musician/songwriter/producer Lofey (a/k/a @stupidwhitejerk), about creating music for an upcoming docu-series.
Without hesitation Lofey produced a variety of cue music & the theme sequence for what is now the well known hit VH1 show, “Love & Hip Hop.” Lofey has written and produced numerous records for well known artists who include Nas, Jay Z, Mariah Carey, Scarface & Joe Budden, to name a few. He has also been responsible for providing music for some of Hollywood’s biggest block buster films such as Transformers,Night At The Museum and Alvin & The Chipmunks.
With Love & Hip Hop season 3 premiering soon Lofey decided to turn it up another notch by taking the the successful theme music and making it into a full blown record for the clubs. The resulting tune "This Is The Life" which features fellow veteran Cardan & new comers Travis McClung & MeetSims is an infectious up-tempo club banger. With partner Doug "Biggs" Ellison(responsible for Grammy award winning singer Chrisette Michele), Lofey is on the launching pad and preparing for take off in 2013.
Be sure to watch the premiere of VH-1's Love & Hip-Hop season 3 on January 7th, 2013.

Irangeles (Iran/Los Angeles) lyricist Malkovich presents his new album Great Expectations, written and recorded in New York City, New Orleans, Atlanta and Los Angeles after giving up his home and possessions to travel indefinitely.
Expectations is the followup to his Ayatollah Presley mixtape hosted by deejay/producer House Shoes (watch the video to the Dibia$e-produced "WTF"), and videos to two Expectations tracks - "What I Know" (watch) and "Palms" (watch) have already been released. Guest emcees include Omni (whose recent album was produced by trip-hop pioneer Tricky), Gotham Green and Sum. Ten producers contribute Expectations' 14 tracks, among them Josh The Goon (Freddie Gibbs, Psycho Realm), Computer Jay (Shafiq Husayn, Jimetta Rose), Yamin Semali, Bei Ru and Becoming Phill, a producer from Namibia, where Malkovich is currently wrapping up their collaboration album. "Great Expectations is an album about the gap between our dreams and our lives," says Malkovich. Great Expectations is available on his Bandcamp page as a free download for a limited time.

Happy New Year people here is a quick raw verse and video i put together rocking over the classic Redman instrumental "Tonight's Da Night". The Mayans predicted we wouldn't be here, just like a lot of non believers did with my career. After over 2 decades rocking they can Blog Off (We still here!) big up all the heads and supporters worldwide. We are gonna step up the bar this year stay tuned 1 love!
Nine years of rapping. Narkz was almost signed by Capital records at the age of 14 but his parents wouldn't allow. He was signed twice to an independent label that did nothing. Nine years of stress. This is his Battle Cry.
