WELCOME TO THE NEWEST EDITION OF WHAT YOU'VE BEEN MISSING

When it comes to digging for samples I must admit, I'm not the best at. When you have friends like mine you don't have to be. I'd like to introduce you all to Maverick, a producer from Washington, DC by way of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Maverick & I have been friends for some time now, His knowledge on Hip Hop & records never ceases to amaze me.

The last time we hooked up, he played me some new beats he was working on. He's a busy guy who has his hands in tons of things. The one thing he has yet to dabble in was a release. I convinced him to let me share his beats with you all. Consider these tracks "The First Step" in my homie making a name for himself.

Maverick is a producer from Washington, DC by way of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Using the MPC 2000 & his vast collection of vinyl records, Maverick's production reminiscent of classic early 90's Hip Hop.

Trackstar the DJ - Upcoming Projects & Kenny Kenny

Peace friends-- Greetings from sunny L.A...been a minute since I hit you up about Boogie Bang 25 and PRESSURE, just dropping a line to keep you update as to my goings-on. Got a few exciting projects coming up:

**Still Dreamin 7--It's been far too long since I released a new edition of my soul series...no host for this one, just great music from Jimetta Rose, Freddie Joachim, Innosphere, Black Spade, Jaspects, Reggie B and more **Out of the Darkness: The Best of Organized Noize--This mix came out so dope! Just waiting on my special surprise guest to complete his hosting duties, cannot WAIT to unleash this one.

**Camp Lo/Pete Rock:80 Blocks from Tiffany's--The Luchini duo's new album is produced entirely by Pete Rock and they tabbed me (along with Mark DiVita) to put together a mixtape to promote the project. Camp Lo recorded some new tracks over classic Pete Rock beats and sent me some unreleased a capellas to concoct some ill blends...

**And if you missed it my good friend Vandalyzm just dropped a new mixtape, "B*tch I'm Mis Talented". Excellent rap music, I recommend it highly.

**Last but not least, here is a project I just mixed for an artist out of Virginia, Kenny Kenny. Shouts to Berkowitz:

Dallas Hip-Hop Star Dorrough Wrongfully Accused

February 9, 2011
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HOME INVASION LEAVES DEA TO COME UP SHORT FINDING NO EVIDENCE

(Dallas, TX) source; Dorrough Music — On the morning of February 8, 2011 hip-hop recording artist Dorrough was awakened as his home was being invaded by the DEA.  Although the home of the Dallas, TX native is lavish and complimented with vehicles to match, the DEA found no evidence and could not make an arrest after an elaborate investigation which may have been stereotype driven.  A spokesperson on behalf of Dorrough music states, “All they found were gold & platinum plaques (‘Ice Cream Paint Job’ sales) on the walls.  Dorrough is anxious to get back in the studio to work and make more hits.”

His next project, ‘Gangsta Grillz’ hosted by DJ Drama will be available nationwide April 2011.

A formal statement will follow from Dorrough’s legal council later this week.
