College Professor & Int'l Runway Model Releases Rap Album

ATLANTA, GA., November, 2012 - Haitian-American rapper “A Lady Named Pearl” is making a name for herself for more reasons than one. As if the Clark Atlanta University professor and international runway model isn’t busy enough, she’s now added recording artist to her resume. Her debut album “Transformation” is an honest look into the mind of a true renaissance woman whose rich life experiences are expressed through Hip Hop beats peppered with Afro-Caribbean influences. “Natural”, the album’s first video, is a rhythmic tribute to natural beauty and showcases Pearl’s commitment to empowering her fans.
Although the path from model to professor to rapper may seem an unlikely journey, Pearl sees it matter-of-factly. She says, “After graduating from Florida State, I was discovered by a photographer and went on to model. A mentor convinced me to go back to school and obtain an M.B.A. A few years later I began teaching. After several careers, I decide that I wanted to dedicate my time to my first love, music.” Inspired by the likes of Lauryn Hill, Fela Kuti, The Roots, and Grace Jones, it would only be a matter of time before her passion birthed her first full length release. The result is a 12 track soundscape executively produced by Daz-I-Kue of Bugz In The Attic fame.
While Pearl’s long term goals include building a school and using her resources to help Haiti, she’s currently focused on promoting “Transformation” and establishing her unique brand. Strong in her convictions, she’s clear about the message she wants fans to take away from her music. Pearl states, “You can transform into who you want to become. Don’t let anyone stand in your way.”

Fizzyology Will Be Released On 11-6-2012
When Lil Fame aka Fizzy Womack (of the world famous Brooklyn duo M.O.P.) and Termanology (of ST. Da Squad & 1982) first came together to make an album, it started out as a solo Termanology effort produced by Lil Fame, who has helmed the boards on songs for Cam’Ron, Cormega, AZ, and others in recent years. But halfway through recording the release, Fame ended up dropping verses and hooks on almost every song, so the two artists then decided to make the LP a true collaboration album. Fizzyology was born. The end result is 15 tracks deep of timeless music and a landmark recording for both musicians.
With Lil Fame handling the bulk of the production, the album has a hardcore feel that will be familiar to Mash Out Posse fans, while also showcasing Fizzy’s growing talent as a producer with some more soulful sounds. M.O.P. fans can look forward to a brand new M.O.P. album very soon, and Fizzyology will give Lil Fame a chance to really shine as a producer in the meanwhile. The album also features Term and Fame going in on the mic over production by the legendary DJ Premier, plus incredible offerings from beatsmiths The Alchemist, Statik Selektah and J Waxx.
