South Africa formally votes an end to Apartheid in elections that are free and open to all citizens. The communist government of Afghanistan falls.

1992 was another monumental year in history, and for me personally it was the first year I was legally able to vote for President. (I chose Slick Willie.)

All of our news items at RapReviews.com are ad supported, and recently Google decided to suspend ads for one of their myriad and labyrinth policy violations, many of which are almost impossible not to trip over if you're writing about hip-hop music and culture. As a result we're going to stop doing daily news items until if/when this issue can be resolved.
