Steve 'Flash' JuonBefore this episode of Genesis Does was recorded, I had owned Wiz ‘n’ Liz for Sega Genesis for at least a decade and couldn’t recall having played it once. AFTER the recording of this episode, I was very happy to have a complete in box copy. It’s a cute collectathon where the challenge is not whether you live or die but whether or not you can collect enough items in the time limit and multiply the bonuses at the end for non-essential items.
As a result I think this one works on multiple levels — kids can appreciate the friendly non threatening nature of this platformer, and adults can enjoy the challenge of speed running or getting the highest score possible. It’s not a bargain super common Genesis game, but for between $5 and $15 dollars loose, I can still recommend picking it up!
