Steve 'Flash' JuonNHK Taiga Drama Taiheki is a PC Engine turn based strategy game (think Advance Wars or Final Fantasy Tactics) where you move units around and attempt to win battles, and it’s based on a TV show that’s based on a novel that’s based on a real period of warring factions from Japanese history. Phew! That’s quite a heady basis for a game, but nothing those who have played Nobunaga’s Ambition should be unfamiliar with.
Unfortunately without a patch for English, I quickly hit a brick wall, which bums me out because I would enjoy learning more about this period in Japan through a video game.
