Steve 'Flash' JuonNecros no Yousai is a game of humble origins — it’s based on a series of toys given away with packages of candy in Japan. From that sprang forth a RPG on PC Engine that some have described as “light” or “silly” but one that from my initial gameplay seems to have a surprising depth to it, and is remarkably accessible to play despite the language barrier.
Unfortunately an impenetrable body of water stops me from making any further progress without either a walkthrough or a language patch, and as this game is so obscure that it doesn’t rate a Wikipedia entry, this may be as far as I get.
