This game has no sound. This game has no underworld, no caves, no items and almost no enemies. This game has glitches that prevent you from leaving rooms and that cause overflow areas on the pause menu. This game is almost completely useless. The Legend of Zelda on PC Engine? Not really. It exists merely as a proof of concept that it could be done. That doesn’t necessarily answer the question of if it SHOULD be done, or whether or not you should waste your time downloading it and trying it.
I don’t think it will ever be finished because Nintendo would slap the creators with a cease and desist if they got any further than this. Forgive the lack of narration for this episode – I was going in for a dental procedure at the time, and besides with a useless proof of concept there’s not that much to say.
