Lil Mav has also been a gold and billboard charting producer, with his work charting #43 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #9 on the Billboard Hot 200. He got his first plaque, which is now RIAA-certified gold. Lil Mav has been deeply inspired by artists such as Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Drake, Chief Keef, and a few others.
When it comes to social media, Lil Mav doesn’t shy away. His YouTube channel has over 10.5K subscribers. He also has an impressive 16.8K followers on his Instagram where he is often seen sharing updates on his upcoming tracks, a peek into his personal life, and places he is traveling to. Lil Mav also likes to share his accomplishments on his Instagram to always keep his followers in the loop.
With over 800 monthly listeners on Spotify, Lil Mav is seeing a positive increase here as well. He has a radio station on Spotify that features his songs and is also a verified artist on the music website, Genius.
Lil Mav talks about how growing up in the Bronx. Being surrounded by poverty and violence was challenging for him. He was raised by a single parent with 4 other siblings. As Lil Mav says, “The way I overcame this is by staying focusing, working hard, and believing in my vision.”
