With a career that spans back to the early 1980’s and literally dozens of albums under his belt, even narrowing down a list to just TEN of Todd Anthony Shaw b/k/a Too $hort’s greatest videos is a Herculean task. Nevertheless out of respect to the mack daddy of Oakland, California I’ve put it upon myself to represent hip-hop’s most prolific user/abuser of the “B” word into the spotlight. While you may agree or disagree with the misogyny of certain songs, he’s also been a commentator and a narrator for economic inequality and police brutality, and you can’t talk about his full legacy without talking about both.
