What is a PC Henshin, and what can you do with it? Well it’s not for Viewtiful Joe (Henshin a Go Go baby), it’s for your PC Engine so you can play TurboGrafx-16 games on it. Why would you even want to do that? Well let’s face it – TurboGrafx-16 consoles are hard to find, very expensive when you do find them, and kitting them out to get the most out of them on top of that can run you hundreds of dollars or more.
On the other hand you can buy a bog standard PC Engine for $50, a PC Henshin for $80, and then you can play any TG-16 Hu Cards that you own or acquire along with the entire library of PC Engine games that are far cheaper than their North American counterparts! Neither way is “inexpensive” but on a cost comparison this could be a better way to go. Subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan for The PC Engine Files every Tuesday and new content daily.
