There's really not a whole lot to say here. If you already picked up the first version of "Kamikaze" you know it was a great album across the board - banging beats paired with Twista's fast flipping vocals. You also have no reason to pick up this re-release. The two "bonus tracks" that were advertised in the trades turn out to be "So Sexy Chapter II" (the "So Sexy" remix featuring R. Kelly) and the "Freek-A-Leek" remix by Petey Pablo that Twista guest starred on. That's right - two bonus tracks, and one isn't even Twista's song - it's somebody else's remix he had a verse on.
If you didn't already have "Kamikaze" this might be worth $12, but since the majority of Twista's fanbase and the crossover audience who got into him based on "Slow Jamz" or "Overnight Celebrity" copped it a long time ago, this re-release is a waste of time. If they had added more tracks, or a second disc of bonus material and rare Twista songs, or maybe a DVD of some videos and live concert footage, maybe it would be. Atlantic Records seems pretty desperate to bleed Twista's album dry for every last penny, and this re-release only makes me wonder why. Good album for those who need a late pass for Twista's shit, but really not for anybody else.
